About Me

Hi! I’m Jeffrey Kang, a PhD Candidate in Marketing at Cornell University. I study consumer decision-making, particularly how consumers perceive and interpret products and their experiences. More specifically, there are two streams of my research that I am passionate about. In one stream, I study consumer perspective-taking to learn how to foster empathy and bridge diverse perspectives and behaviors. In the second stream, I study how attention (such as subtle differences in what we look at) affects the choices we make.

Let’s chat about my research, my music taste, my favorite sports teams (Lakers and Tottenham Spurs fan), or any restaurants & bars that I should try.
